The Ottawa International Animation Festival has the following contract positions open.
YOU MUST BE ON E.I. OR E.I. ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
Media Assistant: Will work with the Managing Director and Artistic Director to undertake a media and promotional campaign. Will write news releases, do follow-up calls, update the media database, organize media conferences and organize other promotional undertakings such as signage and advertising.
Guest Services Coordinator: Will make travel and hotel arrangements for all festival guests. Handle communication with filmmakers and guests. Coordinate festival drivers.
Communications Assistant: Front-line public relations representative for the festival who will help to manage all communication coming into the office and will assist with pass sales.
Assist to the Managing Director. Will assist Managing Director with events management workshops, screenings, galas etc), promotions and communications.
All positions require excellent writing skills, good computer office know-how, great people skills. You must be able to work in an action packed environment and it also helps if you really like film and/or animation.
