I noticed one big difference between Chinese tradition and western tradition in having children. Chinese parents expect the success of their children more, namely, pay more attention to final results, wishing the kids become engineers, lawyers and doctors, while the western parents, on the other hand, pay more attention to the process, namely, the happiness and joy they can have from growth of their children. Therefore, western parents are more relaxing and enjoyable to have kids.

你说的是事实，但是为什么？因为他们各自的生活经验。换句话说，中国人很有危机感，为什么？因为，他们对这个世界上的资源消耗不一样！！美国一个小孩的资源消耗是中国小孩的 40 倍！！在加拿大，你不干活，政府可以养着你，他们当然可以说relaxing 和enjoyable, 中国和非洲行吗？想想五陵少年，八旗子弟，绝对比西方人会enjoy生活。
