Do u mind explaining the Word"AOS" and "EAD"

There are two ways of getting GC: Adjust of Status within US, or consular process in a US Embassy/Consulate abroad. TN can apply for GC in both ways:

1. AOS:

Once you filed for AOS, you can no longer renew TN, but your current one is still valid, and half year after filing AOS, you can apply for EAD, so the process can go seamlessly.

2. Consular process:

TN is a non-immigrant visa, which means you can not have immigrant intention in the current entry to US, but by going through consular process you have demonstrated that you will leave US to get an immigrant visa in a Consulate. So the non-immigrant intention of the present stay in the US wasn't violated, thus you are admitable in a non-immigrant status.
