my son had very severe shizhen as well. At first, the pediatrician presribed some cortisones(not sure about the spelling), they did not work very well. Then the pediatrian suggested seeing a specialist. His name is John Adams. He prescribed something, but I forgot the name of it. It worked extremely well for my son. We only needed to use one container of it, and never needed to go back to Dr. Adams to ask for more. I'm not sure if his prescription cured it, or my son's shizhen just got less severe as he got older. My son is 3 now and is shizhen-free :-)
