We don't know Columbia (as compare to waterloo or u of t or mcmaster here in Canada) is worth spending this much money?----If my daughter is as excellent as she is, I would try my best to support her, even though we are also normal income family.
should she refuse and try for regular decision for harvard / yale / mit?----If you daughter is confident and competent enough, why not try them?
