Here is the confirmation:
On Monday we issued an invitation to donate to the Red Cross with notification that Petro-Canada will match employee donations made prior to May 30, 2008
It has come to our attention that some employees are forwarding this email, along with the Petro-Canada link for donations, to members of the general public.
Please refrain from forwarding this offer and donation link outside of Petro-Canada – this link and matching offer is ONLY for the following:
Petro-Canada employees (full-time, part-time, temporary),
Contractors (with a Petro-Canada employee number and who receive a pay cheque from Petro-Canada),
&
Co-op students employed by Petro-Canada, and
Retirees of Petro-Canada
For legal reasons, the matching of donations must be kept to these categories of employment only.
