我想从外省移至渥太华，我想在KANATA买房，我的小孩上小学二年级，但我发现这里小学分（EFI/MFI/LFI/REGULA ENGLISH/ESL),我该怎么选择？我的孩子只会英文。完全糊涂，请大家帮忙解答。先谢谢大家！

Will you stay in Canada for long? Do you want your children to learn both English and French, and work in federal government?
If yes, MFI because EFI starts in JK/SK and LFI starts in a higher grade.

Otherwise, regular English.
Some English schools also provide English as Second Language (ESL) program for new immigrant students.

For MFI, they are designed for students who do not learn French between JK and grade 3. They teach most courses in French in grades 4, 5 and 6. Then, some courses are taught in English in grades 7 and 8.

Katimavik [Public] Kanata 排名整个Ottawa第二，应该是个不错的学校吧。

其实选择真的是不容易的事，这里的小学教育除了学校给予的以外，还是需要家长的辅助的，如果选择上法语学校，那么作为不懂法语的家长，该如何去面对这个问题？可如果选择英语学校，又担心孩子不能受到双语教育，一早失去了竞争力。挺矛盾的。
