thanks for the reply. I am trying to design a TE temperature control system. I run into a problem of modelling the TE cooler in which I can not come up with a therotical controller design uisng the convientional control theory approach.

I am looking for some help to come up with the equations that completely defined the system behaviour of the TE cooler. Do you have information about the system equation of the TE coller?

My interpreation on this subject is that the required input is the current (I), and the output of the TE is the control temperature (Tc).

I only have the output equation:
let y be the output - the controlled temperature (Tc), then
y=Tc

I don't have the model equation to define the system dynamic. This is where I stuck at.

Finally got a hold on something that can use for modelling the repsonse of the TEC.
