Sony DSC-V1 is not available anywhere now. It will be realsed sometime in May according to Sony's announcement. And it's price will be around $699 to $799 us dollar.

But I searched from Internet, there is a company in Beijing is selling it for just 5800RMB, also many US comany are selling too from Internet, but I'm not sure if it is realiable.

I want to buy it from Hongkong, can save tax. but the SARS is still there.

None of the company or online stores you mentioned has stock for it. They all put the camera description online to attract customers, if you order, it wil take months to deliver. Sony hasn't shipped it the market yet.

Do you think it is worth to wait for a or two months?

What do you think about the dsc_v1, is it good?

看你要小的还是好的。
$1000也要看是否包括memory,backup battery，tax.
如果全包呢，基本要150for memory,battery.
$1000/1.15-150=$720
可以买到很不错的了。
建议到一些网上店买，EBAY上的。
