Played Smuggler's today and had a most enjoyable round. The course is obviously young so some of the fairways/greens are not completely filled in yet, however, the layout is outstanding. Huge elevation changes, challenging risk/reward shots, and breathtaking views from some of the tees.

The breaks on the greens are more subtle than some of the modern design and this is a pleasant change. If you go off the fairway, good luck in finding your ball. If you tend to spray your shots, a few extra balls should be in your bag.

The lady owner and another gentleman greeted us and were extremely pleasant, and allowed us to tee off before our planned tee time, even though it was busy.

We are already planning to go back in about 3 weeks.

We went across the road and had supper at the Glen House Resort and had pork roast that was covered with a wonderful hot, strawberry sauce.
