When you stay in one place for too long, it starts feeling bored. When I was young, I wished to change the place I live every a couple of years.

While that will cost quite some dough and break everything you hard-earned in Canada, money isn't everything.

Agree, it looks like I am still not too old.

Money is not everything, but I think I have seen that money is the most frequently mentioned topic among returnees.

Coz they are unsure how much they will make in China.

Anyway, most of us won't really get back China and become a poor farmer or worker laid off by nation-owned corp. again. We would make well above average wages in some cities. At that point, money isn't everything.

everything is here. family, job, house, car, etc.......

i do not have friends here and i lost my friends in China too. i am just an ordinary guy here and i will be such a guy in China too. At least i can save enough money for my retirement here and have a trip to lots of place in the world once a couple of years. i doubt i can get this if i move back

I will be back to china too..but no more reasons here..Actually i still believe China as much better than canada...

呵呵，没有绝对的，今天走了，明天还能回来；今天留下了，明天还是可能走的。最重要的是有一个好的工作，给我一个好的职业背景。

多从事业去考虑，许多老三届的人现在国外都是业务骨干，但他们现在纷纷回国发展，原因是在国外他们到头了，国内的发展空间很大。

事业搞得好，钱也就多，生活水平也就高了，。。。。
