唔,我有幸小学时在香港读的学校(私校)真的很好,并不是填鸭。学的东西真的很多,设备也一流,也很多表演比赛的机会,很难忘,同学像兄弟姊妹,老师像家人。
到这边读公立学校,此终差点,不过也喜欢这边的自由,只是,这边老师真的有种族问题,我觉得要做得很特出才能得到赏识。不过也有少数关心华人学生的华人老师,都18年了还在联络哩。 我不反对我的孩子回去读书,但一定要找像我小时读的那般好的学校。如果找不到好的,这里普通的公立学校一般还不错。 此帖于 2008-03-21 00:16 被 kliu 编辑. |

I don't know about overall elementary education in China, but from my personal experience, I believe that the skills which are gained from a Chinese elementary schooling include discipline by authority, competitiveness, and structure. These elements are foundational skills contributing to future academic success. It is certainly a lot easier to get good grades in schools if you have these qualities, although self-discipline and self-drive (which are advocated more in western education) is more conducive to learning in general.
