What should the wife do?

Husband is Canadian Citizen sent to China to work by local company. Wife ( permanent residence )went back together for 5 years. Should wife register or report to Canadia government? Maple card will expire soon. Thanks in adavance

In this case, you should call Ministry of Immigration. You might be able to get exception. Asking for help here is a bad idea.
