各位现在能拿到的MORTGAGE 利率是多少？我想弄长期的，主要是觉得利率会持续涨，当然意见不一定对了，每个人预测不同。

我现在能谈到的是 10 年5.35%，或 7 年5.25%。征求大家意见，这个利率怎么样？

i would rather lock at 6 for 10 years than 5.5 for 5 years or 5 for 3 years.

the rate could go up by 3 reasons
1 oil is too high
2 americans print more money
3 canada has too many job opennings

becaues you don't work in financial area, so i just give you the answers now. YES to 2 and 3, MAYBE to 1.

1 oil can go either way, most likely down. world will see peace, because americans are so weak now. iran, north korea are just playing. nobody will cut iran's oil output.

2 americans will go to hell in a few years. why? ask currency fund managers why they sell US$

3 canada will fly high, not only because of oil, but also because of China and Chinese. since US hates China, China will do more biz with Canada. Chinese immigrants are also a key factor. Have you been to California? Do you know why everywhere in North America Chinese goes becomes booming? the % increase of Chinese is an indicator of future growth rate of the economy. Chinese always migrate to the best place they can find. We don't even pick the second best choice, do we?
