第一次准备买RRSP。听大家好像都是投资mutual fund。不知道哪家银行管理的mutual fund做得比较好？

如果你公司有group plan的话，一般那些funds是较好的。因为好的funds要一大班人才够本去买。

RRSP != funds.

Depending on which brokerage firm you open the RRSP account, you can purcahse stock, bonds, mutual funds, RRSP mortgage and other investment components in the RRSP account.

RRSP就是一个养老金账户。
不过这个账户里面的钱可以作各种投资。可以投资基金，股票，或者定期存款什么的。
去你的银行找你的客户经理先了解一下，那个RSP知识介绍的小册子看看也行。
投资要谨慎。

PRSP=FUND?

funds就是指mutual funds。是比较常见的rrsp投资。

一般很少人用rrsp去买股票的，因为风险大。以前只有某些加股可以做rrsp,现在好像改宽了。但就算股票亏了，你的本金还得付税哩。

买rrsp是收入高时做最好，起码入息税先减了。收入低的可以留待以後高收入时用来减税。

with insurance and financial services firms, you will have the option to invest in both mutual funds & segregated funds, the later which the banks do not have, it provides 100% principle Guarantee upon maturity, it provide reset options, it has creditor protecton as well; these benifits are exclusive to segregated funds which mutual funds does not have; you can balance you investment by invest in both of the funds, you also have the option to invest in stocks, securities, bonds,etc.
