I was pregnant for 3 months. Today I called general hospital, i want to delivery baby there, but they said I should have doctor refer to them, then they can accept me. But i don't have the family doctor.
Who can help me?

去医院生产不是你想去哪里就去哪里的，需要妇产医生给你联系，现在你才三个月一般的妇产医生不会看你的，如果不容易找到家庭医生，你可以去appletree问问，我当初也没有家庭医生直接去的那里，到时候他会给你安排妇产医生，然后安排医院，可是你是魁省的医疗卡，估计做一些test是要花钱的吧。

SOUTH 1582 Bank St. 这里有四个妇产医生，我现在就在这里看，那里也管B超和血液检查等，那里也有普通医生，你可以先打个电话告诉他们你的情况，问问，我现在在那里检查很快的，预约好了之后都不用等，到哪里就看，态度也不错，不过你记住不要直接去找妇产医生，也要通过家庭医生的，到了月份他会给你安排的。

我有个朋友预产期是12月，her health card is in Quebec,too.她需要换一个临时的安省health card才能接受，她也刚在Barrhaven找到一家walk in 诊所里面有个医生可以是family doctor,由他再预约产科医生。

You can try Dr. Francis Blair, her office is at 259 ST Joseph, close to Maxi. It's better to go there in person rather than call them. It's not easy to refuse you when you are there, but could be refused by phone. She can put you to General Hospital. However, she won't be there for delivery. She works at Gatineau Hospital only.

I don't know why you want your baby born in Ottawa. Gatineau Hospital is not as crowded as General Hospital, and you could be taken better care of. Besides, if your baby is premature, you probably can not stay in hospital with your baby in Ottawa,which means you need to go to hospital to see your baby every day. But in Gatineau hospital, you can stay there as long as your baby is there, and everything is free.

I delivered my baby at Gatineau Hospital and she was one month early. I got a lot of rest and help from the nurses, and my baby was in good hands. They are loving and caring. I stayed with my baby in the hospital for about 12 days, and only 2 days in semi-private room, the rest were all in private room. There is also a living room beside my room where I can call friends and meet guests. There is a telephone and a TV in it. It was one of the best time I had ever in my life!

前提是，我和朋友都是安省居民。
当年我刚怀孕2个月的时候，家庭医生给开了单子查了血，告诉我前面几个月他都能给检查，所以不用着急去看产科医生，当然他也给安排预约了产科医生，等我拿到预约的消息一看要到怀孕7个月过了才去第一次见产科医生，就慌了神了。这其中也有对我那个家庭医生的不放心----他接很多很多的病人，用很少的时间很少的耐心处理病人…
我家先生的同事家里刚添了孩子，说很愿意推荐他们家的产科医生，我拿了电话打去，在没有家庭医生推荐的情况下，很快就约上了第一次常规检查---无非是量血压问问妊辰反应情况什么的。有趣的是，当我打电话去跟家庭医生给预约的civic接生的产科医生取消几个月后的预约的时候，人家没听明白，问我是想改见医生的时间还是取消？----我那时候才明白，时间是可以改的，我怎么就一开始没想明白先去试试看能不能提前第一次见产科医生的时间呢？----那时间是家庭医生那边给约的啊…
后来也有朋友告诉我，不是所有的产科医生都接收没有家庭医生推荐的产妇，但是我很确认的是我的产科医生接收我推荐去的朋友，也直接就开始安排了常规检查。

以上是我个人的经验，对於魁省医疗卡的情况，估计要看医生是否接受了吧。我家儿科医生的诊所里就贴了告示说，魁省病人要自己付费然后去魁省报销，因为他们诊所等魁省的钱等时间太久了，所以不再直接去向魁省要钱了。

我家儿科医生确实没觉得多好与多不好，我不觉得值得推荐。
