Any access fee or parking fee for fishing in the park? Would you mind telling us where you were fishing since that park is so large.

there are 3 entrances: Thurso, Baie Noire and Plaisance. I used Baie Noire most of the time. Park your car at parking lot is free. walk 2 km and you will see a bridge which is the location for fishing. on top of the Quebec fishing licence, each adult enter the park is $3.50/day. or 16.50/year.The fish is so great, and so is the mosquito.

It seems you drove to south Manotick to buy minows and then went back to high way 50 to east direction. How long will it take us to that fishing spot?

NO, the minnow is for an other location: Rideau River @ 416.
i used dead minnow, worms and 青蛙 at Plaisance.

How was the fishing at Rideau River @ 416 ? I went to Rideau River @Kars and it seems too many boats traffic and only small fish. Somebody told me there is crappie at Rideau River @ 416. Did you catch some crappis there?

no, 416 @ Rideau River is dead this year. I didn't get anything there this year.

Plaisance is a really nice spot but a little bit long drive there.
