You cannot 在加拿大内申请技术移民, I believe. You have to send your application to a Canadian visa office outside of Canada.

据说6 － 9个月左右给决定是否免面试，如果免了，再做了体检然后就很快了。不免的话，排队等面试又要很久，大概还得半年多。这个坛子讨论移民的少，多伦多那边申请的人多，讨论更热烈一些，也许那边的信息更多。

我们从提交申请到拿签证刚好一年（中间因为有事自己体检耽误一个月）。

I submitted my application last May, got file number in June, went through physical exmination in Nov, received my decision (approved) in December, sent out my passport in January, and was officially landed in Feb.

I didn't go through interview. The process took me about 10 months.
