If you have enough income to sponsor her to apply for immigration, then maybe you can try to apply for sponsorship. After sponsorship is approved, try visitor visa again and try to get a 5 year visa.

MP maybe able to help if you think the case met some unfair treatment. Google your MP's name and you should find the name.

Thanks for the info. My local MP is Gordon O'Connor. I spoken with his seceratory a moment ago and got a response that he would not be able to help in regard to this issue. While I insisted a direct contact, I was then given to chance to meet him in person at the end of the month. Just wondering if anyone had any experience talking with the MP people. What is good to talk about, what is not? How likely they can be persuaded?

Would is the apply for shonsorship? Is it relative immigrant. If the sponsorship is approved, why do they need to apply the visitor visa again?

Because from the time the sponsorship is approved to the time the mother can get immigrant visa, there is a long waiting time to process her visa. I mean the immigrant visa. Current speed is like 3- 5 years. Family sponsorship is a two step process: applying for sponsorship and applying for immigrant visa.

My meeting with the MP did not help. He can only help if there is a proof of unfair treatment. From the conversation, it seems like they discovered/suspect there are corruptions in the Beijing Office. Maybe that's why many people got rejected laterly by that office?
