大概八十年代中的样子，那时北京城里的鬼子就如同动物园里的熊猫一样罕见，好像还有“不得围观外宾”的条例。记得一天，我到友谊宾馆找朋友，在通过一个大门时遇到一个鬼佬，当时他离门的距离要远远大于我到门的距离，这时，只见他紧跑几步，赶在我前面到达门口，我本以为他也要进去，但他却拉开门，示意让我通过，然后关上门，原来他跑过来是特意替我开门。这是我第一次理解绅士的定义。

随着中国的改革开放，西方的很多观念也慢慢进入了中国，“Lady First”很是盛行了一段时间，绅士也成了一种时尚，男人全都文质彬彬起来，从着装到礼仪，一时间做绅士成了白马王子的代名词，真真假假，虚虚实实。

后来，到了北美，才明白真正的绅士是做出来的，而不是说出来的；是从骨髓中洋溢着的，而不是停留在外表上的；是内外兼备的一种修养，是时时刻刻、点点滴滴、真真切切、实实在在的体贴和关爱。回头一想：中国无绅士！

去年回国，带着两个小朋友去旅行，不知为什么登机的时候要到停机坪上从弦梯进入。那是四月的北京，风很大，我推着小的，领着大的，还背着一个旅行袋。检票时还算有秩序，等下了车，到了飞机旁边，所有人呼拉一下子就拥到弦梯那儿，我一边折叠童车，一边给孩子们挡着风，最后把车挂在胳膊上，领着大的（4岁），抱着小的（1岁）。周围的人，包括机组人员，全都用怜悯的、惊讶的、羡慕的、漠然的眼神看着我们。这时，从弦梯上走下来一个鬼佬和他的妈妈，他们要帮我拿童车和照顾两个孩子，我想我当时的样子并不狼狈，只是负重的样子让人怜惜，我婉拒了他们的好意，但他们仍然陪着我聊天、逗着孩子。大风中我们是最后登机的五个人，后来那妈妈用英语对儿子说：你是整架飞机上唯一的绅士。

还有一次在北京机场取托运的行李，周围站着衣着讲究或不讲究的男士无数，却个个眼睁睁地看着弱小的我从传送带上将一个个箱子拖下来，再一个个装上手推车。前两个箱子还相对容易些，当我试图把第三个箱子放上去的时候，已经是毫无气力了，一次次上举，一次次失败，只好歇一歇，喘口气，接着再来，总之，最后终于如愿。看着传送带周围的男男女女，再一次感觉：中国无绅士！

和朋友聚会，旁边坐一陌生男士，虽初次相识，但席间受他照顾，蓄水、斟酒、夹菜、点烟，无微不至，心中突然生出些许慰藉：中国原来也有绅士呀！真为自己以前的寡闻和自以为是脸红。散席之后，一群人等步出大厅，晚风吹来，居然感到一丝凉意，这时那陌生男士将自己的外衣披到了我的肩上，这个举动让我大感意外，也非常之受用。看到周围人同样讶异的目光，他赶紧说：我爸爸教导我，天气再热也要多穿一件衣服；即使自己不吸烟，也要准备一个打火机，全是为女人而备。经朋友介绍，才得知他是某国际大导演的公子，终于在中国发现了一个绅士，还不是中国籍男人。

去年回国，带着两个小朋友去旅行，不知为什么登机的时候要到停机坪上从弦梯进入。那是四月的北京，风很大，我推着小的，领着大的，还背着一个旅行袋。检票时还算有秩序，等下了车，到了飞机旁边，所有人呼拉一下子就拥到弦梯那儿，我一边折叠童车，一边给孩子们挡着风，最后把车挂在胳膊上，领着大的（4岁），抱着小的（1岁）。周围的人，包括机组人员，全都用怜悯的、惊讶的、羡慕的、漠然的眼神看着我们。

First I want to say that I never feel there are many gentlemen in North America. And I do not want to say there is no gentlemen in China. But my experience in Beijing Airpot was even worth than this lady. Several years ago, I took my 3 young kids going back from Beijing to Canada - Once with my husband and once by myself. All the people (include all colors) were so rude to us, pushing and squeshing,and several times my kids almost got hurt. What made me really sad/mad is that all the chinese (both mem and women) were so nice to the white kids. It seems to me that Chinese men know how to behave like a gentlemen. But they do not do it to Chinese women and kids, only to white people. It is a tragedy of the Chinese race.

还有一次在北京机场取托运的行李，周围站着衣着讲究或不讲究的男士无数，却个个眼睁睁地看着弱小的我从传送带上将一个个箱子拖下来，再一个个装上手推车。前两个箱子还相对容易些，当我试图把第三个箱子放上去的时候，已经是毫无气力了，一次次上举，一次次失败，只好歇一歇，喘口气，接着再来，总之，最后终于如愿。看着传送带周围的男男女女，再一次感觉：中国无绅士!

I have been travel around the North America and according to my experience, there are all most no gentlemen in any airports. Or say, these white gentlemen only show their gentle side to their own race.In Chinese airports, never expect any gentlemen. So I usually hire a porter if they are avaliable.

I am always proud of being a chinses and I always teach my kids to be proud of our race. I also tell them what Japeness has done to Chinese in World War II. And we do not buy things made in Japen if there is other choice.I will never let my kids to pretend to be Janpeness or Korean. I hope that when China become more developed, Chinese will have more self confident and be nicer to our own race instead of only try to kiss other races' ...

Once upon a time, a peasant's baby was dropped into a shit hole. That peasant is a man. Too bad it happened. When his baby grew up, there began to have a idendity recognization difficulty. The baby's peasant-father must be the one to blame. That drop-into incidence sucks, doesn't it? The baby later on hates that peasant so much. Gosh, such a stupid dropping-things peasant! His kid now thinks everyone is a peasant, at least nobody from the same land can be qualified as a gentleman. That peasant is really stupid. He must have passed the moron gene to his kid.

First please note that I was talking about what happened to my young kids, not myself - I am not a crying baby asking for strange men's attention! My four, three year old kids been pushed around by a bunch of adualts, and you are telling me it's a tiny thing? Do you have a heart? If a white woman - you neighbour or your co-worker tell you that her kids have been pushed around by quite few adults and almost got hurt, will you tell her it is a "这点芝麻小事"? I bet you won't. Then why you telling me so? Because I am Chinese and my kids are Chinese?

If you think that chinese only be nice to other race but so rude to our own race is a perfect normal thing, then you are one of the tragedy. If the majority of a race always think that other races are better, how can you say this is not a tragedy?

You seems have difficulty in understand what I have said. What do you mean "说来说去, 其实绅士还是有的是, 不过没对你而已". I never said there were gentlemen, There were a bunch of 洋奴 and bustard other colored adults!

According what you said, I guess you have no kid. That's a good thing for Chinese race because then we have less 洋奴.

Loving, caring and protecting children is a worldwide principle. Why Regal thinks that it is OK for adults to bully Chinese kids as long as other colored kids being taken cared of? 可悲的洋奴啊！
