4'O clock in the morning. We should ask his wife what happened that morning. Sounds to me he was pushed over the edge by stress and situations. His wife bear a lot of responsibilities for his death. According the inforamtion I got from the internet, there is no info on how upset his wife is! Only his brothers and parents are very, very upset. His wife only asked the society to donate money for her!!

I do not think this is a homicide. But there are unanswered questions. If Jiang's wife does not aske donations from the whole society, then what had happened in Jiang's family before his jump is THEIR private matter. But since his wife keeps asking money from everyone, then we have the right to know what happened? Why Jiang was not home at 4:00 am? Did his wife know that he was not home? Did his wife tried to look for him? Even his wife has admited that she has not been caring of him for a long time. So before we clearly know if his wife is guilty or not in the MORAL COURT, why should we donate any money to her? If she is guilty, then anyone who donate money to her is encouraging the domestic psycalogical abuse,and more tragedies will happen.

If Jiang's wife does not aske donations from the whole society, then what had happened in Jiang's family before his jump is THEIR private matter. But since his wife keeps asking money from everyone, then we have the right to know what happened? Why Jiang was not home at 4:00 am? Did his wife know that he was not home? Did his wife tried to look for him? Even his wife has admited that she has not been caring of him for a long time. So before we clearly know if his wife is guilty or not in the MORAL COURT, why should we donate any money to her? If she is guilty, then anyone who donate money to her is encouraging the domestic psycalogical abuse,and more tragedies will happen.

我开始倒是有点怀疑: 多伦多治安并不好, 是不是因为精神郁闷, 苦闷失眠, 上街溜哒散心, 不幸遇上歹徒抢劫行凶, 被扔下桥... 一类的刑事案件, 会不会?

但是, 警察没有立案(肯定也经过了尸检了), 我们小老百姓也就没有什么可说的了.

蒋先生曾是武术队长，又自小从农村长大。想来功夫和身子骨都应该不错。即使有1,2,3个小混混，我想也奈何不了他。打不过还跑不过吗。除非遭人暗算。所以，自杀成份居多。
劝诸位也不要过多议论其家人。我想其家人任着不要捐款，也不愿意被人议论短长。
哀末大于心死。蒋先生可能觉得此生无出头之日，又不甘心活在低层，才走了轻生之路。诸葛亮曾说过：善理者不师，善师者不阵，善阵者不战，善战者不败，善败者不亡。每当我处于极端困难的境地，就把“善败者不亡”当作座右铭。俗话讲，留得青山在，还怕没材烧。生命是最宝贵的。是一切幸福，成功，亲情的载体。有生命，有本事，有个健康的身体，应该说没有什么困难克服不了的。如果你的亲人，配偶中有比较内向，爱钻牛角尖的人（或是Teenage)，劝你对其多留神，多关心。尤其是当其面临极端困境时：失学，失业，失恋，失去亲人等（如蒋先生的博士后合同在10内就要到期），更应该体贴，善待。帮其渡过难关。
另外希望网上的大侠们也要宽容。对不得志的贴子，能帮故然好。帮不上就不要打击，更不要说风凉话。出国来混，都不容易。从广义上说都是老乡。都应该互相照顾，互相帮助。

Remember, 7% (at least in the USA) of adult are clinicly depressed. Every single day, about 30 Americans will commit suicide because of depression.

It is a desease, and a quite common and treatable one. Any family doctor worth his/her salt can treat it. Which makes this case even more tragic.

It is a desease, and a quite common and treatable one. Any family doctor worth his/her salt can treat it. Which makes this case even more tragic.

Since this is a common thing and 30 people in America commit suicide EVERY single day. Therefore, this is not a special case. Why should we even need to spend time discussing it? Only because Dr. Jiang has two PHD and from Tsinghua. SO WHAT!? A life is a life. With or without PHD and Tsinghua should not make any difference. Are we going to make 30 donations every single day??
