非常支持和平集会活动，和使用统一的标语。

我认为标语应该符合集会主题，言简意赅，响亮有力。不需要太多文学性。标语写得好，可以起到事半功倍的效果。反之会使集会的效果大打折扣。

例如最近在多伦多举行的集会, 我觉得标语都值得推敲：
1. We are 56 Ethnics， ONE China / ONE family
一说起56 ETHNICS，来自大陆的中国人都知道这象征中国的民族大团结。可是外国人，甚至其他地方来的中国人并不一定有这种联想。何况，这次集会和其他民族也没有关系。因此，我们不必强调56这个数字。
可以改成：MULTIPLE ETHNICS，ONE CHINA

2. Listen to our voice
不如改成LISTEN TO THE TRUTH。言下之意不要听信藏独的谎言。

3. Say NO to RIOTS
有点拗口。
不如改成SAY NO TO VIOLENCE

4. We are Chinese， we are family
这句话如果由西藏人自己说，是震撼性的效果。但是如果由集会的中国人说这话，似乎没有任何意义。
不如改成：Tibetans, our sisters and brothers --有点煽情
或者：TIBET， A PART OF CHINA --直截了当

5。中文标语：西藏现在其实很好
这种标语很难服众，不如去掉．

希望渥太华的集会组织者能提前把统一标语公布出来，集思广益。

This professor was from Europe and taugh in China every summer for ten years. He was in Hongkong on July 1, 1997.

3. Say NO to RIOTS

We should use the signs that Canadians easily understand. Here are some signs suggested for the demonstation:

1. Great Trudeau (best with his Portrait): "Just Watch Me!"
2. Religion? Culture? It's THEOCRACY!! Stupid!
3. China learn from Canada: Great Trudeau, No Harper
4. China need: Great TRUDEAU, NO Biggest SLAVE OWNER the Dalai!

Explanation:

1. This sentence was what Trudeau said to reportors in 1970's when asked how he will deal with the Quebec separatist riots. He did crackdown the riots with military in the following days, arrested lots of them without court orders. It's the perfect example for China and every Canadian knows what it means. This sign with Trudeau portrait will certainly attract attention of the Canadian media!

2. This is the key to answer and educate those stupid Canadians who are misled by the western media and the Dalai on what the problem in Tibet is about. It takes the famous style what Clinton said and every Canadian knows.

3. Canadians want to be examples for China. Trudeau is what example China wants, not the stupid Harper. this sign is protesting Harper by contrasting him with Trudeau. Every Canadian knows the great difference between the reputations of them.

4. Similar to 3, use Trudeau to condemn the Dalai.

我认为应该集中在三点：
1，用展板和宣传单的形式揭露西方媒体的蓄意歪曲报道，这是最直接也是最真实的回击，民众也最容易接受。因为事实摆在那儿，否认不了，但问题是民众其实并不知道他们的媒体在干这样一件龌龊的事，所以我们要告诉他们。我想相关的内容已经出现在德国的集会上，而且资料也很容易找到。但是需要强调的一点是，在这之后，一定要告诉民众他们的媒体这样做的用意，那就是唯恐中国不乱，蓄意颠覆破坏中国。
2，用标语的形式言简意赅地说出我们的诉求：Stop Distortion; Stop Supporting Violence; Apologize to china. et al. 我认为诉求可能要集中火力，打开突破口。
3，口号。一定要有统一的口号，一是统一大家的行动和调动大家热情，否则时间稍长一点，有些人可能就疲劳了，这样效果就不好；二是让即使匆匆路过的民众也能很快明白发生的事情和目的。

以上是我的想法，供活动组织者参考。

另外一点建议：是否准备一些可以贴在脸上的国旗贴？

由于Ottawa的特殊性, 希望千万别忘了法文的大小标语和宣传牌. 大标语最好一面英文,另一面法文.
