after practice sveral times on the small ice field beside my apartment, i've started skating on dow's lake. amazing! so many people skating there no matter how old they are. i wish i can reach parliment hill one day from the lake by skating.

"世界上最长的划冰道"? This is still debatable. According to it's competitor, it can be the world fattest skating rink, but not the longest. Looks like the title will soon be stripped away from ottawa

我这几个周末都在运河冰场，看冰场上华人确实不多见。也许华人有钱， 都玩室内？ 要不就滑雪去了？

indoor is only $2/session, way better ice condition

there aren't that many people ski/sb ... at least I don't see many

I am happy to know so many friends like skating. I am able to skate from the north of Dow's lake to the 2nd bridge. Hope to run to the bridge of 417 this weekend.

Jast back from skating, the ice was good. The local forecast said tomorrow would be a nice day. I think there will be a lot of people on the ice tomorrow.

How can we recognize you?

Today, around noon, I started from Dows Lake and skated through around 7 bridges, finally reached the end of the skating ring. I thought it connected to Ottawa River, but not in fact. I'm tired and falled down three times during the skating but very enjoyed.
