I've been to Cuba twice, two years in a row actually. Cuba is such a safe place to go for anybody . People are so nice there. I had a wonderful time there. Regarding the restrictions, personally I've never encountered any. But Cuban people definitely have a slow paced life attitude.

Anyways, the scenary is amazing. Don't expect too much for the food. In fact, I think it will be a wonderful destination to lose weight. Eating as much delicious fruits(their tropical fruits are just out of this world) and vegetables as you want. Swimming everyday either in the ocean or in the pool. Guranteed losing weight!

Enjoy your stay in Cuba!
