我的朋友在CU读Master，准备在winter term做 TA，但是学校需要提供Social Insurance Card

请问各位，现在哪里负责办理international student的Social Insurance Card，需要什么材料，需要多久，多谢各位！

得等教授和你签的合同才可以办,因为办卡的时候要拿合同原件.先到international student advisory说要办SIN Card, 会给他一张表上面有需要准备的东西以及地址.地址是在HRDC-human resources development of Canada,坐四路或者七路在laurier下车.

如果材料齐全,提交之后两个工作日就可以拿到SIN number,拿这个号码到human resource填表之后就可以按时收到payment了, 大概七个工作日以后可以收到SIN card(by mail), 拿到之后要再去human resource给他们copy一下就好了

In Lincoln Field Mall and Ottaw City Hall, there are office of Human Resource Canada. You need to bring a letter from your department stating you are employed as TA. You also need bring your study permit and passport. You will probably receive the card in about 15 days.
