元旦去UO，1月9日开始上课
到了那边应该首先搞定哪些事情？
银行开户？房子？
到学校注册需哪些手续和步骤,怎么选课，要找导师吗？学长能不能指导指导？
我本科是在西安交大的，有校友吗？

First of all, you need to find an apartment. You should have it done by now actually since it;s very hard to find a room near UO.

--Get a bank account. The bank won;t be open until 2 or 3rd Jan.
--Get your Social Insurance Number
--Your medical insurance card at school Health Centre
--If you are a undergraduate student, you should be able to register for courses now, don;t wait until u got here, a lot times, the courses you wanna register are full.
--Graduate studies, the same with courses and u won;t able to meet your professor unless u made an appointment. Usually Profs are no at school until the school has started.
--Pay your tuition fees, otherwise they will charge you for interest.
--Get your student id, very important.
