Today I got a $40 ticket in OU. I saw there is a green sign says Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm. So I parked there at 4:12pm. Then I found a ticket after. I looked more closely to the sign. There is a red sign above the green sign, saying Mon-Fri, no parking 4-5pm.

Should I pay the ticket or go to the trial?

绿色牌子应该是可以停车的时间, 你在可以停车的时间以外停的吗? 那你够呛, 就算没有那个红色牌子也是你不对. 付了罚单省心. 如果有的是时间, 不妨一试去上庭. 大多数情况下发罚单的警察都不出庭, 他们不去就算自动认输, 你不用说话就赢了, 何必不去. 如果对方出庭, 你仍然可以 claim not guilty. 因为停车牌子标识不清楚. 搏一把, 也许能胜.

错！上法庭你不需要付任何费用，还可以申请免费的中文翻译。如果你有时间，我建议你去法庭。最差来个Guilty with expanation.解释一下你的理解，法官一般会给你减半罚款。另外，你也学了法庭知识。只是以后停车多注意就是了。我有了几次这样的经验了。
