I contacted the dealer for rust proof product it can provide a while back.

The dealer has one rust proof product: 299 USD that include two parts:
- The under car portion is petroleum based.
- The material that is sprayed inside the doors, etc, is paraffin based.

The product can be applied at the dealer site to a new car, and it takes about an hour to complete the application. It is one time application only, with a 10 years warranty for unlimited mileage on the car.

Nowadays, all new cars from major makers have well designed underbody that provides basic rust protection. How long is this protection going to stay? If you have a new car that has never been applied with any rust protection product, sign of rust may show up on the side of doors after 10 years given that you wash your car regularly even in winter season, say once a month. After 10 years of service, the 10 year warrenty is no longer has expired already.

If you car is involved in accident that has a certain level of damage to car's body, rust will show up much sooner and no rust proof product can stop that.

Alternatives?

You can find a local company such as Crown/Metrapolitan to apply their product to your car. Their product has 10 year warrenty as well. To keep the warrenty, you are hooked to visit them once every year or every two years. You need to pay for each visit, of course.

Another alternative is to buy and install CounterAct from Canadian
Tire.

The third alternative?
- wash and wax your car in winter regularly at gas station.
- remove accumulated snow from the wheel wells for your car whenever you notice them.
