sharing water guide problem

I already live in a new towmhouse for 1.5 years, and I plan to live here for another 3 years, then buy a single house.

Now my neighbor asks me to share water guide, the total price is $440. The problems are: (1) because I plan to live in here for only 3 years, is it necessary to have a water guide? (2) this neighbor only share entrance with me, not drive way. So, is it better share water guide with drive way side or with entrance side?

我猜是房顶周围的eavestrough吧？

要是townhouse，最好一个单元的几家合起来一起做，大家摊钱，能便宜些。

那东西还是该做，不然冬天屋檐下会挂上冰凌，对房顶不好，还可能掉下来伤人。
