挺难说的事，全看你问谁了 到网上google一下EMF，能找到各种各样的意见。

要是去问Ottawa Hydro或Ontario Hydro，他们也许会告你说高压线架得足够高了，周围的居民足够安全，他们很在乎环境等等。他们还可能说，你家里的电视电炉电吹风什么的产生的电磁场，比我们的高压线还厉害。

可要是问环保人士，答案就是另外一个样了。

我买房的时候，没敢要离高压线近的那一片。我自己虽不觉得那个地方有什么危险，可到了想卖房的时候，说不定买主害怕呢？

Thanks for your suggestions. THe house I am interested in is about 450m from the high voltage power lines. I'm not sure whether it is enough, though. I know there are different opinions about the EMF, that's why I'm not sure whether to take it or not.

It is said the impact is particularly big for pregnant women and young children. But I haven't yet seen any scientific evidence. But based on precautionary principle, we stay away from it. It's your call.
