There is some problem with the furnace. The thermostat sets at 23, but the temprature just doesn't go up and stayed at 17. I am to call Enbridge for service. But I understand as long as they come, they charge a $150 minimum for any problem. It's a better deal to sign up for a one-year maintenance plan at the similar cost. But first we have to wait for 10 days for the plan to take effect, secondly it doesn't cover existing problem or problems prior to the plan. So my question here is, anybody has experience to sign up for the one-year plan and have it cover their immediate problems?

I know some Bell technician will sell you the service plan on the spot to save you big time. Wonder if gas company follows the suit.......

我在两周前刚打过电话。Enbridge现在只管送气，不做service了。找其他公司，人家也得先查过炉子，才肯给一年的service plan。

另外，thermostat是不是好的？炉子能不能正常点火？有热风吗？

Should be. The battery sign is blinking, but batteries are just back in case of power break, right?

炉子能不能正常点火？
Yes. When we switch on the fan, we can hear the louder sound, much more air coming out of the register, just not warm air.

有热风吗？
No.......


If Enbridge doesn't do servicing, who should I contact then.........

修煤气炉的公司挺多的，Sears也做。我找的是E.N.Blue。

你的炉子可能没有点火。把上边那个盖子打卡（用手可以拿下来）就能看见炉子里面的几个burners。炉子工作的时候，burners里面应该有火苗。

要是炉子没有点火，可能是pilot light灭了，可以照着说明书上说的，把它点着。点着了以后稍等一会儿再打开炉子。

你说的大概是工作状态的指示灯吧？它能显示几个error code。说明书上、或炉子面板的里面会有个解释，什么信号代表的是什么error。我的炉子，正常工作的时候是两个绿灯一直在闪着，启动的时候闪得快一点。若有一个不闪，或一快一慢，就是有毛病了。

你说的大概是工作状态的指示灯吧？它能显示几个error code。说明书上、或炉子面板的里面会有个解释，什么信号代表的是什么error。我的炉子，正常工作的时候是两个绿灯一直在闪着，启动的时候闪得快一点。若有一个不闪，或一快一慢，就是有毛病了。

Somehow it is working now, and since Friday night. I believe the furnace needs some cleaning or other maintenance. It has difficulty to start the fire soemtimes. I will call your guy from E.N. Blue. Thanks for all your help.
