Hi, could someone please tell me what should do? Thanks!

Gas Furnace name: Lennox, More than three years

Since yesterday, it is almost not working. I checked it took long time (maybe two hours)to start fire and after half minute the fire dead and other half minute hot( not hot as normal) air will be down.
The temp set at 22C but only 18C now. I called someone, however I was told it is too busy on weekend.
Question:
1) what should I do?
2) any recommendation for which company or person I should call to fix it?
3) should I join a service plan? How much is the normal price?

When was the last time you changed the furnace filter?

Somebody had recommended ENBlue before. Have you tried them?

The filter was changed three days ago.
I called EN blue, I was told I have to wait.

I guess you need to call a technician to check the furnace. It looks like that you can light the flaming, but the flaming won't stay. It could be something wrong with the thermal couple, I guess. It's nothing to do with the filter, that's for sure. If your furnace is more than 10 years old, suggest you install an new one. The labour cost if gas technician is around $100 per hour + parts.

a few years ago i had to change the meter outside,
do not play around yourself, it is very dangerous,
you may find some company on yellow page.

Our furnace was broken a couple weeks ago. I called E.N.Blue. They sent someone pretty quick, but the charge is hefty too. Labour is $90 per hour, and one hour minimum. Parts extra. We ended up with a bill over $500.

Lesson learned? We sign up for the maintenance plan with Direct Energy right away for peace of mind......
Sometimes it's better to go with bigger names.

１．我个人认为是flame Sensor出了问题，所以点火后半分钟就熄火，几次没有成功后，炉子就会Lockout．有的炉子会在２－３小时后重新点火，这就是你认为的需２个小时来启动．
２．我认为service plan很有必要，Technician上门一次，要百八十，如果要换什么贵的部件，那帐单肯定会吓死你。service plan大约１５０／年，不过Lennox的炉子会贵一些，２００／年。不要找太便宜的，太便宜的瞎糊弄。

The condensation pipe gets dirty and blocked. Cleaning this pipe might be the only thing that a non-technitian can handle. Turn off the furnace power. Try to open the front door and unplug the pipe from the joints. Get it cleaned. If necessary, unscrew the motor and get it cleaned up too. Turn the furnace back on.

Is this furnace less than five years old. It may be still in warranty. Call the dealer who installed it.

My furcace was fixed by a technitian. It cost $200 total.
