Bulider cut 10% of my land!! S.O.S
I received a letter from bulider, they said the drain pipe location was wrong in their orginal plan, also we have the wrong copy in our agreement . Right now the drain located on my lot's backyark and will have 1.2 m wide easement on from the property line! from the new draw, they cut 1.2 m = 4 feets from my orginal property line!
My lot is 40', that's 10% cut. And they just send me the paper! Anybody know, can I sue the bulider or can I take back my deposit? Now the house fundation all build up.

1.2m easement access for catch basin
catch basin 是接雨水。 Your property line didn't change. easement means when anything wrong with the catch basin, the City has the right to assign the engineer repairing it by passing your property. Your duty is not block the way to access the catch basin.
There is little chance for repair work needed. If you got a good deal, then don't need to worry about it. If not, then you may use it as an excuse to get away from the deal via a lawyer's help. |
