听有房子的朋友说，在Garage上面的Bedroom会比较冷，一般作为客房。

可惜我看中的一套房子偏偏把Master Room设计在Garage上面，是不是不好的设计？在Garage上面的Bedroom一定比较冷吗？怎么克服呢？

这是我在网上找到的资料。看来确实存在这个问题，解决方法是有，但都有点麻烦。我个人觉得能免则免吧。比较而言，最方便的是下面这个方法。

A Canadian company, Emercor, makes a insulated garage ceiling panel that you can install under your bonus room or bedrooms over the garage. They use a rigid foam that has the drywall on it already. You just have to screw the garage ceiling panels to your floor joists and you're done.

可是open to above的房子确实有一些是把master room放在garage上面的，大家要注意。

我家的主卧就在车库上方，室温比其它房间还高呢。车库上方有房间时，天花板一定是加了保温层的。

现在新房子没这个问题.我家车库上的房间很暖和,小孩在住.

This kind problem is easy to solve. Like adjust in vent or add a baseboard electricity heater. Don't put too much limitation on your house hunting. find a house at right place, right size and right price already hard enough.

我买的房子，主卧的retreat在车库上面，去看model房的时候没觉得有什么问题
