请教各位大侠:

抽油烟机通风管道里进了鸟而且还安了家. 管道不短而且还转了两次90度. 感觉有时鸟在靠近抽油烟机处,有时在天花板与地板间的管道里. 已经一个星期了.

请问有经验的各位大侠怎么解决，万分感谢！！！

There is some company clean this problem, I saw my neigbour hire someone to clean it then they will install a net to cover the opening outside of your house.

I had the same issue before. I got it out myself. Very easy to do. Usually the nest is very close to the outlet of the 通风管道. No matter how long is the 管道 is. Good luck.

Clean it as soon as possible, my friend's house has the same trouble and she found bad smell and some insects there.

抱歉实在不知道vent室外的cover叫什么，但上面的塑料片是可以取下来的，这样容易看到通风管道内的情况，如果可以看到鸟巢，但手够不到，可以用铁丝钩，或用吸尘器吸，

Same problem happened to my 抽油烟机通风管道 couple years ago. First I heated some cooking oil and put some chilly in, turned the 抽油烟机 on, birds flew away immediately. Then we used a metal net to cover the opening on the exterior wall after took off 上面的塑料片
if you can reach with ladder.


You can also buy this kind of guard from Home depot, and ask for professional person to clean the pipe and install it on.

I still have a few questions. Did you clean the pipe? if so, by yourself or a professional? You mentioned that you covered the opening on the exterior wall with a metal net after you took off the plastic cover. How do you prevent cold air from getting into your house, especially in winter? I noticed that the plastic cover can be easily opened by wind. A salesman from home depot said there was no good solution to this issue.

Before you chase the birds away and seal the opening, make sure the birds haven't laid eggs inside (or they'll become orphans!!). It's spring time now and it's the time that they lay eggs. Later by early summer, those eggs will have hatched and then weeks later those babies will have moved on with parents to other places, at that time then, you can get a wire mesh from HD and cover the opening, then put the vent flaps back.

The draft getting inside from the duct is minimal, besides, a little fresh air from outside will do you good in winter..:-)
