Renewing my mortgage, TD only gives me Prime-0.7, too bad. any one has good deal?

I just renew my mortgage on TD bank last week, the five years variable mortgage rate is 4.5% (Prime -0.75%) And also don't forget to double check the insurance in your new mortgage, they increase a lot without ask, after I ask the reason, they said the new one cover more but I don't need it, so right now count on the new lower balance, that is a lot cheaper then before. My mortgage is 5 years closed, but when you check their mortgage rate from their web-site you can see 5 years closed and open is the same rate.

check invis broker, usually they are much lower than any Bank.

What do you mean "renew"? Can you renew the mortgage rate before the due date?
