Since came to Canada, Loosing hair heavily. Worried a lot and anyone have any idea on preventing it? Thanks

There are 2 kinds of balding: male pattern balding and frontal balding.

Male pattern balding refers to balding on the back of the head. Certen medications can control its spread, such as Propecia, and even regrowth in some cases. However side-effects are experienced in less than 2% of the patients, including impotence.

Frontal balding refers to the common receding hairline, and it is hereditory. In other words, it comes from your genes, so no cure for that yet. For more options to control hair loss, consult your physicians. DO NOT EVER use drugs without prior talks with your family doctor.

City water IS soft water. Only those who live in the sub-divisions need to use a water softner. Hair loss is largely genetic, whether you stay in China or in Canada makes no difference. DNA calls, it's your time.

Don't worry.
When I just came here, I also suffer heavy hair loss.
But after several months, it stopped.

You won't get bald.
Maybe here is too dry. Previous I lived in south part of China.
