no,not the monthly statement. should be "offical letter" from your bank.

Although the purpose is disputable, it is a common practice to present documents indicating your financial situation, no matter which country's visa you are applying for.

Anyway, monthly statements should work. But it is advisable that you provide several of them to show the history of your bank account balance.

证明那些钱是你的,证明你有固定的收入等.最好能show给他看,你拥有那些钱多久了,象我就把2000年和2004年的bank statement拿给他看.中间的带去,如果他还怀疑就都给他,不看就算了.不用花钱做银行的银行证明.多余.
