我到equifax去查过有两次拖欠款记录.
请问我应该到哪能修改这些不良记录?

你拖欠是否已经还上了？拖欠的是什么？一家公司两次还是两家公司各一次？距离现在多长时间了？

是两家公司各一次. 我是国际学生,上次回国半年没按时还.可是两年前我就已经把他们都还清了, 为什么现在还不能给我信用卡?
还有什么是secured?
怎么办?

there is no way for you to change your credit history --it is there to help the crediters to decide if they want to lend you. The best thing you could you at this point is to get some credit, such as get a "secured credit" card (available both from Master and Visa card), meaning you deposit some money into your credit account and that amount of money would be your credit limit... in essence, it is not a credit card and the money in that account will not generate any interest for you. Most of the time this type of credit card charges annual fees. Although this may sound like a bad deal, at least it will give you a chance to improve your credit rating later on. After all, not being able to pay EVEN the minmium TWICE looks really bad in your credit history.

as you have already found out in your equifax report, the report also list any unsuccessful credit applications. So do not try your luck by applying for millions of credit cards, since 100% of your applications will be checked against your credit report --because of the bad rating in the report--you have no chance of getting one approved, and the more unsuccessful attempts registered in your report, the worse rating you will get -- just thought you also want to know this.

据我所知，有人在回国前大量刷卡，然后一走了之。一张VISA一般可以刷出1000到5000 不等。回国前申请好几个。
我听了这件事后觉得很惊讶，难道她就不再去别的国家了么？一辈子在中国不出来了?在canada的中国人企不是背黑锅？
希望同胞们谨慎用这一招，最好别用。

maybe that was a while ago. Visa and Master card have both increased their monitering of any possibile fraudulent activities. I was once in a gas station trying to full up the tank. Since I was not familiar with the operation of the nossole, I swiped my Visa 3 times but still could not fill up the tank. I swiped the card the 4th time and the transaction was declined. While I was puzzled trying to figure out what was going on, the cashier from the gas station asked me to come in since the visa card call was on the phone and asked to talk to me to verify. I was on one hand happy to know somebody is watching out for my financial interests,on the other hand I was scared to know that they really watch what you are doing at any given moment.

That's system automatic alert. Human won't involved unless there is abnormal transaction.
