请教：关于申请父母移民

我正准备为父母办理移民申请，在填表过程中发现要提供birth certificate。请问如果我没有这个文件怎么办？如果是必需的，我该去哪儿办理(使馆受理吗？)

肯定要的，可以让你父母拿着你的出生证去办理公证。

这个文件是必需的！可以让在国内的亲戚去你父母的户口所在地办理，然后寄过来。

I guess you may notice what's going on for parental sponsorship program. If you don't, please go to www.sponsoryourparents.ca and give your support.

I submited sponsorship application 2 years ago, now I got all the document back saying 'you need to update your information, and you can withdraw at this time with the refund'.
So you see, it seems CIC stops processing parent's immigration. I suggest not to prepare the document and put your eye on what's going on.
