第一次听说！ 要是 200块一年，俺也去弄一个。

I only heard that if you paid a few hundred (per year), you can have a permit to park your car in somewhere only for one hour or two hours, you will allow to park there over the time limit, this is suppose for someone live in downtown and without parking lot. I don't think this permit can let you park your car beside the meter for free.

有个朋友办过，夏天是一个月100，但是当天是不可以的，因为雪。

The On-Street Residential Monthly Parking Program applies only within established zones in the City of Ottawa.
Residents may be granted a permit holder exemption from City of Ottawa traffic and parking by-laws to park up to 48 hours in the same spot and to be excluded from overnight parking bans from November to April. To qualify for permit privileges, residents have to live in a zone that allows permit parking and can prove that they do not have access to off-street parking.
Effective September 1, 2007, the cost per vehicle per month is $50 + GST.
An annual permit is available for $560 + GST (a $40 savings).
The cost of a replacement permit is $10 + GST

以前住Down Town 时，楼里没有停车位，房管出证明，可以去申请一个街头停车的许可证，多少钱忘了，大约一个月几十元，同一个地点，停车不能超过48小时，有地点限制，不能停在meter位置上，除非周末免费时。所以很怀疑你说的这个200块一年的消息。

我们公司在城里包过meter,时间限制是9am - 3pm。不是我经手的，不很清楚价钱，好像是$70/天。
