If your old boss willing to do it and he is still the boss at this moment , you could get EI. But it is all depend on he is willing or not.

如果您‘原老板打算卖掉生意‘，不管您愿意不愿意给‘新老板’做，他都应该给您出具证明说明他不再雇佣您了，而且原因是因为他卖掉生意。
问题：您原老板现在还在做，是吗？如果是，直接给他讲您需要证明，对他没有任何影响的。如果您已经给‘新老板’做工了，那就不知道该怎莫做了。

Yes or No. If your company is a corporation , so you are the employee of the corporation. Change the ownership of the corporation does not effect your employment ship unless new ownership lay off you. Your boss is selling business which is including all employee. He should not lay off all the employee before transfer ownership.
