一直在dealer那里做定期维护，经常地他们会建议换换这个，修修那个的。因为自己不懂车，也就随他们去，有时几十，有时几百。今天把车留下后不久，他们来电话说车的刹车系统脏了，建议清洗，前面$90多，后面$40多。我一想，我去年刚换的全套刹车系统，（也是他们建议的，后来听说，有些parts可以不换）我就说不用了,他们就说那我可以去取车了。结果去了以后又等了2小时左右，其间看见技工开着我的车跑进跑出好几趟。最后终于可以拿车了，他们又说我的车spring broken了，他们免费给我换了，但是有个spring下方连接着车轮的一个部件（横着的）也broken了，要换的话得$300多，我如果要继续开也可以，就是加速的时候会感觉到震动，也不安全。我上下班全走高速，除了轮子里有积雪开高速的时候（>90km/h）能感觉到车抖以外，还没发现别的情况。
反正这次的经历让我对这个dealer 的感觉很不好。不知大伙儿遇到过这种情况吗？有什么建议吗？谢谢先！

I drive old car, and don't go to dealer. However, dealer are trained to follow the book. This is the part I don't like. I like practical. Like Merc Benz's repair concept is "Fix when it failed"

New driver may not able to inspect the problem yourself, so it may be hard to follow this practice. The concept is whatever they tell you need repair, inspect it visually yourself. Whatever they said as preventive maintenance, don't do.

For brake fluid, I don't see the point of cleaning it. Replace the whole fluid for $10, + $30 labor. Isn't that cleaner than spending $90+$40 to flush it?

No comment about your spring. You need to specify your car model in order to comment. Anyway, spring does not brake easily, unless your car is very old, no maintenance, drive in very poor rood condition, and rusted
