I don't think I will ever understand.
My colleague took the morning off to take his daugher to take the shot. She is in the risk group, but then he also took the shot. The same goes for the health care workers and their families.
My confusion is this: After the high risk took the shots, they are now immune (after a week) and no longer at risk. So why are they afraid of the family's members?

Maybe we shouldn't get the flue shot at all.
I read it this afternoon already. Maybe, the whole world has been overacting, at least especially 乌克兰。
But who knows?
When someone dies because he or she refuses to get vaccination, do you want that someone to be one of your family members?
Many people could have accepted seasonal flu shots and did not, then they died from complications caused by seasonal flu. Should we have worked hard to convince them to get vaccination? I do not know. Maybe, it is their time, no matter what.
