Post Canada now only services 3 days a week to cut cost(Mon, Wed, Fri), and also pays union worker 3 days a week even they are not on strike.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has announced that 13 of its locals will be on 24-hour strikes today. For the most part, these locations have limited mail sorting facilities and are primarily sites of post offices with letter carrier delivery. Many sites have yet to see any picketing activity, but we expect disruptions at the local level in the following cities:
Labrador City, N.L.
Bathurst, N.B.
Summerside, P.E.I.
Sainte-Thérèse, Que.
Saint-Jérôme, Que.
Thunder Bay, Ont.
Hearst, Ont.
Brantford, Ont.
St. Thomas, Ont.
Flin Flon, Man.
Yellowknife, N.W.T.
Whitehorse, Yk.
Vernon, B.C.
