Laurier 大街惊现天坑
OTTAWA — A large sinkhole has closed the intersection of Laurier Avenue and Waller Street.
Police said the road collapsed and left a sinkhole about eight metres wide.
City crews were on the scene early Friday morning to assess the damage.
Police said the road will be closed for the day.

OTTAWA — Police are investigating after a woman was struck and killed by a truck downtown early Friday morning.
The truck was turning at the intersection of Rideau and Waller streets when the woman was struck around 6:07 a.m., police said.
Police have not yet released the age or identity of the woman. They were still trying to identify her early Friday morning.
Police have closed eastbound Rideau Street between Dalhousie and Cumberland streets.
Waller Street is also closed in both directions between Rideau and Besserer streets.
