Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Monday refuted claims that Tehran had agreed to a U.S.-brokered ceasefire deal with Israel.
Araghchi’s statement comes after U.S. President Donald Trump told NBC News in an exclusive phone interview Monday night that the Israel-Iran ceasefire will last “forever.”
“As of now, there is NO ‘agreement’ on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations,” Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said in a social media post on X.
