在情人节前夕，广东河源市区一名90后男子因为与女友失恋，竟然殉情而跳进东江河，意欲选择跳江自杀的方式来结束自己的爱情与生命。 据当地民警介绍，昨晚19时许，河源市区一名90后男子在源城区御龙湾小区对面跳入东江河自杀，该男子在河中漂离岸边50多米时，在河中忽沉忽浮。当地市民见状遂电话报警，源城区公安分局下角派出所民警在接到警情后，随即联合当地巡警、消防等部门对跳河男子进行了营救，最后经过半个多小时紧急施救，最终将跳江男子从河中救起。 经了解，该男子是因为女友在情人节前夕提出与其分手，因感情纠纷而跳河自杀的。跳江男子后被紧急送往当地医院救治后，今日已脱离生命危险。 -
