I have been using a notebook and a USB GPS receiver for the entire summer. It has been great. USB GPS - from eBay US$45 to US$50 Map software, download or get it from Staples Cad$30-40 Any notebook with USB. Handheld will not be my option, screen just too samll. GPS's main usage is driving. -
