Michael Keaton's in town! Yep, the former Beetlejuice and Batman star is in Ottawa for the next month to film a new movie called Penthouse North. In it, he plays a smooth and sadistic criminal who follows a foreign correspondent to her New York City penthouse apartment...

And while the film is set in Afghanistan and New York City, these scenes will be filmed right here in Ottawa.

This will be the third film that local film company Zed FilmWorks has co-produced here. Filming officially began today, and to tell us more we reached Robert Menzies, the president of Zed FilmWorks.
